- A guide for class placement and selection.

- A class scheduler.

- A member of the school crisis intervention team.

Why would you see a School Counselor?

To talk about: Peer Issues, Conflict Resolution, Substance Use/Abuse, Scheduling/Registration, Grades, Studying, and Other Needs.

- A consultant and listener.

- Referrals are made to the Behavioral Health Counselor by administration, school counselors and teachers.

-A consultant and listener, especially in regards to substance abuse/prevention and mental health concerns.

-Referrals are made to the school social worker through the administration team, counselors, psychologist, Pathways program, or by request from a parent.
